Hey! I'm Mubin ul haq.
I started out in 2011 as a software engineer. While I was developing projects, a lot of design problems kept bugging me, so I started fixing them myself. The more I did it, the more I enjoyed it. As a developer I was mostly following instructions, but in design I was making real decisions about the product. Two years later I moved into UI/UX full time, and I've been designing web and mobile products ever since, mostly complex B2B SaaS.
For more than half a decade I designed the Stethee ecosystem, built around an AI-powered Bluetooth stethoscope: Stethee Pro for GPs and other medical professionals, Stethee Vet for veterinarians, Stethee IO for internal research, and Central, a web dashboard for digging into the data. I also built Pulse, the design system that keeps all of them looking and working the same way.
The engineering background still shows up in how I work. I know what's expensive to build, I can talk to developers in their own terms, and I like handing over designs that don't leave anyone guessing.
